§ 3. EFFECTIVE DATE OF FRANCHISE, EFFECT UPON EXISTING FRANCHISE AND ACCEPTANCE.

The effective date of this franchise shall be December 3, 1996, subject to acceptance by TWEAN which acceptance shall be received by the City not more than thirty (30) days after passage of the ordinance, which shall incorporate this franchise. Upon the effective date of this Agreement, any existing cable franchise agreements will be null and void and the terms of this Agreement shall be in full force.
