§ 4. FRANCHISE TERM AND RENEWAL.

This franchise shall take effect and be in full force from and after the final passage hereof, subject to acceptance by the Franchisee as herein provided and the same shall continue in full force and effect for a period of fifteen (15) years, from the expiration date of the current cable franchise agreement (expiration date of the current agreement is September 28, 1998).
